Programme Lead Engineer

In this role you will:

  • Be responsible for the successful delivery of the engineering scope of work to the agreed budget and schedule for one or more cutting edge projects
  • Lead a talented multi-disciplinary engineering team to delivery industry leading solutions
  • Define and develop solutions to emerging customer needs
  • Work with world-leading engineers across industry, government and academia
  • Contribute to sovereign UK defence capability and international collaboration

To be successful in these roles we are looking for you to bring:

  • Previous experience either as a Project Lead Engineer or a Domain Lead Engineer (e.g. Systems, Hardware, Software)
  • A good understanding of the multi-disciplines involved in delivering projects
  • A good understanding of the challenges associated with Avionic System Engineering such as operating environment
  • Professional registration as a Chartered Engineer (CEng or equivalent) is desirable, but not essential. We actively support employees in attaining CEng status
  • Experience working with or familiarity with AI/ML models is preferred

This role has a salary of between £63,000 and £80,000 plus our flexible benefits package.

We are open to this role being spent with time working from home and in the office (hybrid - typically 3 days working in office) on a weekly basis or fully in our offices.
