The role requires a proven track record in delivering complex data and technology programmes, consolidating various initiatives into a single, governed program. Key skills include technical literacy with modern data platforms, experience with enterprise data foundations, and a strong ability to influence and align stakeholders across diverse teams.
Main Responsibilities
The Programme Manager will oversee the AI-ready Data Foundation programme from initiation to delivery, driving initiatives towards a cohesive direction.
Lead the programme through a readiness phase to define scope, delivery milestones, and governance
Manage programmes involving several workstreams with multiple contributors
Ensure alignment and collaboration among diverse teams
Monitor and report on programme milestones and benefits
Facilitate communication across international, multi-site teams
Key Requirements
At least eight years of experience delivering complex data programmes
Demonstrated ability to consolidate independently sponsored initiatives into a governed programme
Experience in enterprise data foundation work
Technical literacy in modern data platforms such as Databricks
Proven delivery experience under regulated environments (GxP)
Ability to establish baselines and evidence programme benefits
Experience working in a matrix organization
Familiarity with AI and machine learning
Strong communication skills in professional English
Nice to Have
Experience in pharmaceutical or life-science R&D
Familiarity with FAIR data principles
Background in sourcing and managing knowledge-engineering specialists
Experience in a two-in-a-box operating model
Prior experience of handing over a programme to a permanent internal owner
