About the Role

Sickle Cell Hope Alive Foundation (SCHAF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting People Living with Sickle Cell Disease (PLWSCD). Reporting to SCHAF Management and the Board of Trustees, the Programme Manager will coordinate the planning, implementation, documentation, research, and stakeholder engagements for the foundation's health advocacy programs across Ibadan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan outreach activities, workshops, and meetings; track agendas, action plans, minutes, and logistics.
  • Conduct hospital visits (e.g., UCH, Adeoyo, RRSH, Oni Memorial) to support beneficiary enrollment, PLWSCD follow-ups, and partner relations.
  • Identify grants, track donor opportunities, conduct literature searches, and assist with concept notes and grant proposals.
  • Maintain organized databases of beneficiaries, donors, volunteers, and stakeholders while safeguarding medical confidentiality.
  • Oversee social media platforms/website inquiries, produce impact stories, prepare monthly/quarterly reports, and supervise volunteers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or HND in Public Health, Biological/Health Sciences, Social Sciences, Development Studies, Business Administration, or Project Management.
  • Minimum of 3 years' professional experience in program management, healthcare, NGOs, research, or community development.
  • Must reside in Ibadan (role is primarily home-based with office attendance and local facility visits).
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite; strong writing, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent in written/spoken English; proficiency in Yoruba is an added advantage.
