Programme Youth Innovation and Engagement Officer - Jigawa
- The Youth
Innovation and Engagement Officer serves as a vital link between SFH's
programmes and the young people they serve, ensuring authentic youth voice
informs all aspects of A360 programme design, implementation, and
adaptation.
- This position
champions youth-driven innovation, facilitates meaningful adolescent and
youth engagement, harnesses data and youth insights for adaptive
programming, and supports programme evolution toward more responsive, youth-centred
approaches.
- The role is specifically designed for a young
professional (aged 21-24 years)
Requirements
The role will require the following:
- BSc./BA Communication, Sociology, Economics, Health Sciences,
Social Sciences, Humanities
- Training or hands-on experience in a CSO or CBO
or Ex-Corps member in who served at a reputable NGO
- Six months to one year post
NYSC experience in health or development ecosystem; working in health promotion
or youth development space.
Technical:
- Basic knowledge of M&E
- Basic
programming skills in youth and community engagement
- ASRH communication,
demand generation and linkage to care.
- Economic strengthening initiatives
