Position Title: Programmer Engineer - Level III

Location: San Diego, CA

Clearance required: Active Top Secret/SCI or TS/SCI eligible with a completed Tier 5 investigation at time of submission.

Scope: Serves as a senior software developer building, integrating, and delivering secure software capabilities to production environments using Agile frameworks. Designs and codes resilient software architectures for DDIL and afloat/ashore PaaS environments, applies DevSecOps practices across the CI/CD pipeline, and integrates software securely with Cross-Domain Solutions.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Design, develop, and deliver software capabilities to production environments using Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe.
  • Code in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, C#, Go, or C++.
  • Implement modern architectural patterns such as Microservices, Event-Driven, or Serverless.
  • Use Git-based version control workflows such as GitFlow or Trunk-Based Development.
  • Execute the end-to-end delivery pipeline from software design and development through automated testing to production deployment on Kubernetes, cloud, or virtualized environments.
  • Apply DevSecOps principles, including configuring automated security testing tools (SAST, DAST, SCA, and container scanners) as quality gates within a CI/CD pipeline in a highly regulated government or DoD-mandated environment such as Overmatch Software Armory (OSA), Platform One, or equivalent.
  • Code, integrate, and maintain resilient software architectures designed for DDIL environments and afloat/ashore PaaS environments such as Navy's ACS, USMC's CHE, or equivalent.
  • Integrate software securely with Cross-Domain Solutions (CDS).
