Programmer (Government Sector, JAVA/ JavaScript)

Salary: $35,000 – $40,000 per month

A HKSAR Government Department

The selected candidates will work in the Government Department and be responsible for the system implementation and support of existing systems.

Responsibilities:

· To coordinate with users in defining the function requirements and conducting unit testing, integration testing, UAT testing

· Coordinate with vendors for outsourced development of new application systems

· To provide application support for various computer systems including the data warehouse system

· To perform trouble shooting, rectifying and resolving programming problems when incidents occurred

· Design and develop programs for new application systems

· To perform any other work assigned by supervisor

Requirements:

· Higher Diploma holder or above in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent

· At least 3 years of post-qualification work experience

· Solid experience in Structured Query Language (SQL), Java and JavaScript programming

· Solid experience in Java Application Framework (e.g. Struts (Apache))

· Good command in both written and spoken English
