Programmer (Government Sector, PC LAN Support)

Salary: $35,000 – $41,000 per month

A HKSAR Government Department

The selected candidates will work in the Government Department and be responsible for the system maintenance and office automation support.

Responsibilities:

· To provide daily technical support of a system for incident handling

· To provide daily technical support for a single sign-on tool

· To provide day-to-day technical support, including PCs related hardware and software

· To maintain GOA PC installation images

· To troubleshoot, diagnosis and resolve ad hoc enquiries and problems

· To provide on-site support service

Requirements:

· Higher Diploma holder or above in Information Technology (IT) or equivalent

· At least 3 years of post-qualification work experience and 2 years in similar capacity

· At least 2 years work experience with/ in the Government

· Solid experience in Office Automation, PC LAN Support and Windows 7/8/10

· Solid experience in Structured Query Language, Server Virtualisation Technology and Windows Server 2008/2012

· Familiar with using Clonezilla and Microsoft Deployment Toolkit to prepare Windows installation images

· Solid experience in preparing Windows batch scripts to automate tasks

· Solid experience in Microsoft Windows server administration including server patch deployment and server accounts administration

· Candidates with experience in supporting production systems on GCIS platforms are advantageous
