CNC Programmer

Job Description:

- Create and modify CNC programs using Mastercam

- Convert engineering drawings and 3D models into machining programs

- Select appropriate tooling and machining parameters

- Simulate and verify toolpaths to prevent collisions

- Support CNC machinists during setup and production

- Optimize cycle times and improve machining efficiency

- Maintain program documentation and revision records

Requirements

- Proficiency in Mastercam for creating CNC programs.

- Ability to generate 2-axis, 3-axis, 4-axis, or 5-axis toolpaths (depending on this role)

- Strong understanding of CNC milling and turning operations

- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical specifications

- Knowledge of cutting tools, feeds and speeds, workholding, and machining strategies.

- Experience with CNC machine controls such as FANUC, Siemens CNC, or Haas Control.

- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize CNC programs to improve productivity and quality.
