Programmer

About the role

Design backend, database, and API for digitalization applications and SAP support. Build integrations between applications and SAP systems alongside ABAP programmers, develop service automation and scheduled processes for operational needs, and support testing, deployment, stabilization, and technical documentation. Develop mobile applications (Android & iOS) and web interfaces including transaction forms, approvals, reports, dashboards, and access management. Connect interfaces with backend APIs and implement offline-first synchronization where required. Fix UAT results, support go-live activities, and transfer knowledge to stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Design backend, database, and API for digitalization applications and SAP support

• Build integration between applications and ABAP programmer (data validation, error logging, retry, double transaction prevention, reconciliation)

• Develop service automation data and scheduled processes for operational needs

• Support testing, deployment, stabilization, and technical documentation

• Develop mobile applications (Android & iOS) and web interfaces (transaction forms, approvals, reports, dashboards, access settings)

• Connect interfaces with backend API and develop backend modules according to task division

• Implement offline-first / data synchronization where needed

• Fix UAT results, support go-live, and transfer knowledge

• Coordinate effectively with Site Office teams and relevant Head Office departments

• Willing to undertake official travel for IT implementation at site offices

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Informatics / Information Systems or equivalent experience

• Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience as programmer

• Proficiency in at least one backend: Laravel (PHP), Golang, or Mobile apps (Flutter/Android Studio)

• Understanding of Database: PostgreSQL or MySQL (schema design, indexing, transactions)

• Proficiency in REST API, data validation, error handling, retry mechanism, and double transaction prevention

• Proficiency in Git, code review, and production troubleshooting

• Experience completing applications to production

• Experience with SAP ECC integration (OData, BAPI/RFC, IDoc)

• Experience in palm oil plantation industry is a plus
