Programmer
Summary
In-house programmer at a transportation/logistics group in Sheung Wan, Hong Kong, developing and supporting internal systems for the group's member companies and training end users. Core stack is PowerBuilder, PHP, MySQL and JavaScript, with AI coding tools like GitHub Copilot a plus. Frequent travel to mainland China offices required.
Job Responsibilities:
Participate in System Development for our Group’s member companies
Provide support to existing systems, including trouble shooting, bug fixing and ad-hoc queries
Prepare user and training manual and conduct end user training
Job Requirements:
Degree in Computer Science or relevant discipline
At least 1-2 years of work experience
Good programming skills in Powerbuilder, PHP, MySQL, Javascript
Knowledge in GitHub Copilot, AI Coding experience is preferred but not a must
Good team player with excellent problem solving skills
Proactive and able to work independently
Strong interpersonal skills
Good written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
Require frequent travel to China offices
Ability to work independently
