WE'RE HIRING: PROGRAMMER / SENIOR PROGRAMMER!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Responsible for managing new application requirements or existing application change request.

2. Participate in the whole development lifecycle phases; from requirements gathering up to the deployment.

3. Handle support cases for all applications under the department’s care.

Tasks may include, but not limited to the following:

A. Programming tasks such as:

1. Conduct or assist in requirement gatherings.

2. Document any new or change request requirements.

3. Develop new application or enhance existing application to cater the requirements.

4. Participate in the various testing phases and the deployment of the applications / change requests.

5. Assist in trouble-shooting, debugging and bug fixing.

6. Monitor applications performance.

B. Support activities to Department may include:

1. Maintaining / updating the various database.

2. Assist in data collection for reporting needs.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

4. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, perform effectively under pressure, and liaise with external vendors and business partners when required.

6. Experience in utilising AI tools in daily work is an added advantage.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

1. Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or an equivalent qualification.

2. Proficient in at least one of the following programming languages or frameworks: PHP, ASP.NET, C# or Java.

3. Experience in developing Web Services and/or RESTful APIs.

4. Basic knowledge of database management systems, particularly MS SQL Server or MySQL.

5. Minimum 1–2 years of relevant working experience in programming or application development. (Programmer)

6. Minimum 4–5 years of relevant working experience in programming or application development. (Senior Programmer)
