Programmes Executive
Summary
Designs, runs, and evaluates community programs for vulnerable groups (women, youth, low-income families) including outreach, training, and impact tracking.
Programme Executives/ Senior ProgrammeExecutives of YWCA’s Community Services & Programmes drive and manageimpactful and sustainable programmes that uplift well-being of vulnerablegroups. He/ She will be assigned to manage programmes under one of thefollowing categories:
· Empowering Women. Serving lower-income women througheducation, employment and enterprises
· Empowering Young Women. Serving NEET (not in education,employment and training) youth through education and employment
· Community Support. Serving low-income families and individuals, including elderly through Food Distribution programmes and community engagement events
Key Responsibilities
· ProgrammeDevelopment, Evaluation & Implementation
o Develop and update programme logic model / theory ofchange for new and existing programmes
o Research on trends and latest developments ofprogrammes and activities for service users, and identify existing programmegaps in the social service landscape
o Curate programmes by developing curriculum and adaptingexisting curriculum and session plans or collaborating with community partnersand volunteers to provide the content
o Outreachto community agencies to build awareness of the programmes
o Recruit serviceusers into the programmes
o Responsible for giving the volunteers proper trainingand supervision and guidance so that they can effectively cater to the needs ofthe service users
o Build relationships with partners to better deliver theprogrammes
o Spearhead development of sub-units' programmes; EmpoweringWomen/ Empowering Young Women/ Community Support (for Senior ProgrammesExecutives)
· ProgrammeDocumentation & Management Reporting
o Upkeep the beneficiary database and physical copies ofthe service users’ application forms & social reports in accordance withPDPA guidelines
o Upkeep the photo repository of beneficiaries andprogrammes
o Ensure that for programmesthat are chargeable, fees are collected on time and reminders of outstandingfee to parents are issued.
o Evaluate the effectivenessof the programmes through administering pre-post-test surveys and participantsatisfaction surveys and analysing the results
o Document the effectiveness of the programme throughcollection of beneficiary impact stories, output indicators and outcomeindicators
o Provide inputs and data for monthly reports to Management,Committee and Board
· Budget Management & Administration Management
o Plan and manage the budget for each programme
o Manage theadministration, logistics and operation structure of the programme includingmeal and sustenance delivery
o Communicate and liaise with beneficiaries for anymedia, publicity, marketing, fundraising requests or efforts
o Manage a team of drivers/attendants for weeklydispatch schedule and deliveries (if any)
o Manage and maintain the passenger and goods vans e.g.petrol, insurance and servicing (if any)
o Work closely with Marketing & Communications’ teamby providing details for creative brief to generate publicity materials
o Ensure regular housekeeping of the space and resourcesused for running of the programmes
· Perform any other duties as assignedfrom time to time.
Requirements
· Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Social Science ispreferred
· At least 2 years of working experience inSocial Service or related work
· Fresh graduates with a passion to work in thesocial service sector may apply
· Proficient in Microsoft Office application
· May be required to work on weeknights orweekends if there are evening or weekend beneficiary programmes
