About the Role

erpSoftapp is seeking a proactive and experienced Project Accountant to join its team. The successful candidate will support accounting system implementation projects, helping clients improve their accounting processes while ensuring accurate financial records, reconciliations, and reporting.

Key Reponsibilities

• Reconcile various company accounts within implementation projects.
• Review and implement ledgers for assets, liabilities, income, expenses, and equity.
• Monitor and review creditors’ and debtors’ ledgers.
• Review Trial Balance, Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, General Ledger, and aged debtors reports.
• Verify and maintain accurate charts of accounts and financial records.
• Prepare accurate and timely reconciliation documentation and management reports.
• Support clients in accurately capturing trading activities within accounting systems.
• Manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting project deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–4 years’ relevant accounting experience.
• ICAN certification is required.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS.
• Proven ability to analyse and implement financial records within accounting systems.
• Good understanding of Trial Balance, Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, General Ledger, aged debtors, and Chart of Accounts.
• Strong spreadsheet and financial reporting skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Strong documentation and reconciliation skills.
