Project Administrator
Job Description:
- Maintain project files, scope of supply, schedules, trackers and project documents.
- Coordinate with Project, Engineering, Production, Procurement, QC, Safety, Logistics, Finance and Service teams.
- Liaise with customers, suppliers and subcontractors on project schedules, deliveries, site access and installation.
- Follow up on Purchase Orders, materials, equipment, manpower and subcontractor schedules.
- Review project files and assessment statistics and assist the Operations Manager with progress reports.
- Prepare and maintain Delivery Orders, Purchase Orders, work reports, QC/NDT records, Risk Assessments, Method Statements and other project documents.
- Coordinate drawing submissions, approvals, testing, MOM load testing and handover documentation.
- Monitor project progress, deadlines, outstanding matters and delays.
- Assist with project meetings, minutes, billing documentation and project closure.
- Perform any other project administration and coordination duties as assigned by the superior.
Requirements
- 3–4 years of experience in project administration, coordination or site supervision.
- ITE/Higher Nitec/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, Project Management or a related field.
- Engineering, construction, manufacturing or lifting equipment experience preferred.
- Able to understand basic technical drawings; AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage.
- Good communication, documentation and follow-up skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Valid driving license required.
- Willing to work in the office, factory and project sites.
- Mandarin/Malay/Tamil is an advantage.
- Any other duties and tasks assigned by the superior from time to time.
