Store Design & Project Coordinator (Retail Fit-Out)

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and develop store design documentation from concept through technical drawings using AutoCAD.

• Produce accurate CAD drawings and vendor packages for new store openings, renovations, and retail fit-out projects.

• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to ensure designs meet operational, regulatory, and landlord requirements.

• Coordinate project design with internal stakeholders, external consultants, contractors, and brand partners.

• Work closely with Merchandising, Operations, IT, and other departments to ensure project requirements are fully integrated.

• Prepare and maintain store layouts, counter designs, installation drawings, and construction documentation.

• Support vendors throughout the design, fabrication, and installation process to ensure quality execution.

• Coordinate drawing submissions, permits, approvals, and project documentation for timely project commencement.

• Monitor project progress, timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful completion.

• Ensure all drawings and design documentation comply with relevant design standards, tenancy guidelines, and authority requirements.

• Participate in project meetings and provide design support throughout the project lifecycle.

• Perform other project-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Spatial Design, or a related discipline.

• At least 2 years of experience in retail store planning, interior fit-out, project coordination, or construction.

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD with the ability to produce detailed technical drawings and construction documentation.

• Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and vendors.

• Good understanding of retail design, space planning, construction processes, and project coordination.

• Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.

• Able to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
