TUMO Labs is the educational direction of the EU TUMO Convergence Center, a tuition-free applied science and engineering hub that bridges higher education and industry. Designed for learners aged 18 and above, TUMO Labs prepares participants for careers in technology, engineering, and innovation through industry-relevant education and real-world projects.
Built on a just-in-time learning methodology, the program combines guided self-learning with project-based learning to help students develop practical skills in technology, applied science, and engineering. Through hands-on learning and collaboration, participants gain the knowledge and experience needed to succeed in a rapidly evolving global workforce.
About the Internship
Project Assistant internship at TUMO Labs is a great opportunity to support the successful planning and implementation of TUMO Labs' educational programs and events by providing administrative, communication, and coordination support. Throughout the internship, interns will gain hands-on experience working in a dynamic educational environment, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time position based on their performance.
Learning Objectives
During the internship, the intern will learn:
How educational programs and innovation projects are planned and executed, how programming is taught in the non-formal education;
Maintaining project documentation and supporting day-to-day operational processes;
Organizing and delivering workshops, hackathons, bootcamps, Demo Days, and community events while learning event planning and logistic;
Team work and collaboration with project managers, learning coordinators, communications specialists and operations teams in a multidisciplinary environment.
Gain insight into startup incubation, technology education, entrepreneurship and innovation programs while contributing to meaningful projects that create real impact.
What You'll Do
Support in maintaining project documentation, internal records and project requests
Assist with project logistics and day-to-day coordination activities, prepare presentations and documentation, if needed
Draft emails, announcements, newsletters, and student communication items, support in social media post creation and reviews
Support in communication with students, mentors and the program staff
Assist with registration processes and participant onboarding, card system management and events related activities
Support workshops, hackathons, bootcamps, Demo Days, and community events, assist during event execution and post-event reporting
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or final-year student in Business, Communications, International Relations, or a related field
Up to 1 year of experience through internships is required, as well as experience in organizing events, preparing reports, etc.
Strong organizational, communication and administrative skills
Excellent written and verbal communication in Armenian and English
Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office and AI tools
Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
Willingness to learn and grow

Evaluation & Benefits
The Intern will receive mentor guidance, midpoint feedback, final evaluation, and will transition into a full-time Project Assistant position upon successful completion of the Internship.
