Role

The Project Assistant Manager is an experienced accountant that has performed book keeping and accounting functions for SMEs, and is able to identify areas of automation and productivity enhancements for businesses. This role works closely with members of the Accounting team who provides accounting services to clients in coordinating and delivering accounting-related projects across the client portfolio — including client onboarding, system migrations (e.g.,Xero/QuickBooks Online), process improvement initiatives, and cross-functional coordination between Accounting, Corporate Secretarial, and Tech teams. The role blends project coordination with hands-on accounting responsibility for an assigned segment of the client portfolio.

Responsibilities

● Plan, coordinate, and track accounting-related projects(client onboarding, system migrations, process improvements), ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.

● Provide training to clients as part of the IT Implementation and system setup

● Coordinate with team members from Accounting team to handle full sets of accounts, bookkeeping review, and financial statement compilation for an assigned segment of the client portfolio.

● Liaise with cross-functional teams (Corporate Secretarial, Compliance, Tech) to ensure smooth execution of projects.

● Prepare project status reports and updates for management.

● Assist in onboarding new compliance clients, coordinating documentation, timelines, and system setup.

● Support the Accounting Lead in reviewing junior staff's work on project-related tasks.

● Identify process inefficiencies within the client portfolio and propose/implement improvements.

● Ensure compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, GST, CPF, and other relevant regulatory requirements for projects handled.

● Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Qualifications

● Diploma in Accountancy, Degree in Accounting, or ACCA(part-qualified or full).

● At least 2–4 years of working experience in accounting, with prior project coordination or process improvement exposure preferred.

● Relevant experience in a CSP (Corporate Service Provider) environment preferred.

● Experience managing or supporting projects across a portfolio of clients in diverse industries.

● Good working knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, CPF, GST, and relevant tax rules.

● Technology-savvy — proficient in Microsoft Office and cloud accounting platforms (Xero, QuickBooks Online).

Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) Policy

As this is a remote-based role,the company prefers candidates to use their own laptop. To ensure smoothperformance across multiple tools and platforms, the device should behigh-performance and capable of handling multitasking efficiently. A monthly BYOD allowance will be provided to support this arrangement.
