PROJECT CO-ORDINATOR
Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage mechanical and electrical (M&E) work schedules aligned with the project master programme to ensure timely progress.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to identify and resolve technical and site issues promptly.
- Inspect mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) works before concreting and subsequent construction activities to ensure quality and compliance.
- Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems (ACMV, plumbing, fire protection) and electrical systems (LV/HV, transformers, switchboards, CCTV) to meet project specifications.
- Ensure all works comply with relevant standards, codes, and safety requirements to maintain site safety and regulatory adherence.
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering recognised by the Professional Engineers Board (PEB), Singapore.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Electrical/Mechanical engineering projects within Singapore’s building and construction industry.
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Strong technical knowledge with hands-on experience in M&E systems and site coordination.
- Good understanding of M&E details, construction drawings, and local construction practices.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with project stakeholders.
