Project Controls Manager

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Build and maintain the integrated cost, schedule and progress-control system so management has a reliable and current view of actual status, forecast and emerging deviations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Develop the integrated master schedule and project baseline schedules.

· Control CAPEX, commitments and project cash flow.

· Lead forecasting, progress measurement and earned-value processes.

· Track variations, claims, delays and contingency usage.

· Validate EPC/EPCM monthly progress reporting.

· Prepare management dashboards and exception reports.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND CAPABILITY

· Strong Project Controls experience on major investment projects.

· Advanced Primavera P6, MS Project or equivalent scheduling capability.

· Excellent Excel and cost-modelling skills.

· Understanding of EPC progress, schedule and change-control mechanisms.

· Highly systematic and analytical working style.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

· AACE, PMI or similar certification.

· Multi-project programme experience.

· Power BI or equivalent dashboard expertise.

KEY SUCCESS MEASURES

· Reliable schedule and cost forecasts.

· Early identification of delay and overrun risks.

· Consistent controls across all workstreams.

RECRUITMENT PRINCIPLE

We are looking first and foremost for hands-on implementers with a proven record of taking real industrial or infrastructure projects from planning through procurement, construction, commissioning and operation.

The roles are part of an international renewable-energy, circular-economy, biorefining and industrial side-stream utilisation investment programme with Côte dIvoire as the principal implementation country. The portfolio includes both fast-start production projects and later large-scale industrial investments.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

A reasonable level of working English is essential. French language skills are a major advantage.

EMPLOYMENT AND LOCATION

Employment form, work location and travel requirements will be defined role by role. Some positions may begin in Finland or elsewhere in Europe, but several key roles will require significant presence in Côte dIvoire during implementation phases.
