Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and supporting projects across all trades, including ACMV, electrical, plumbing, and multi-trade. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a strong understanding of project management principles.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support projects from initiation to completion to ensure timely delivery
  • Liaise with project managers, directors, clients, and workers to maintain clear and effective communication
  • Schedule and coordinate site visits, inspections, and meetings to facilitate project progress
  • Manage project documentation such as contracts, permits, and certifications to ensure compliance and record accuracy
  • Track project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain project timelines
  • Collaborate with teams to resolve problems and develop practical solutions
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, building codes, and local regulations to uphold project standards
  • Assist in preparing project reports, budgets, and forecasts to support project planning and financial control
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, timelines, and milestones to monitor progress and deadlines
  • Coordinate material deliveries, equipment rentals, and labor resources to optimize project execution

Required competencies and certifications

  • Diploma in any discipline, preferably civil engineering
  • Sound knowledge of local government agencies’ regulations

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in project coordination or related roles
  • Proficiency in project management software, MS Office, and email applications
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
