Project coordinator
Summary
Project Coordinator based in Madrid supporting European Sales Offices with commercial offers for medium complexity projects, driving order-to-invoicing activities to meet customer requirements and delivery dates.
· Participate to technical and commercial offers preparation with Sales Offices and Global Project Pursuit by coordinating the specifications review and planning activities, participate to alignments calls and contract review calls
· Influence project specifications towards Emerson standards in order to reduce risks while collaborating with the Sales Offices
· Ensure that every stakeholder understands the project’s requirements by reviewing the spec review file in details, listing the deviations and following the required process
· Commit on project lead times while considering, whenever possible, some float to mitigate risks
· Be responsible of the project once awarded, in agreement with the Sales Office, be Flow Control Europe interface for customer and contribute to his satisfaction by providing required and accurate data
· Lead every project step, while ensuring lead times and milestones are respected, coordinate the various internal Europeans stakeholders
· Track and record project progress (goods and documentation), commit to annual, quarterly and monthly Sales forecasts, improve project profitability
· Anticipate and identify potential risks in any project’s aspect and ensure that preventive/corrective actions are activated
· Record any fact or relevant step in order to provide factual data to negotiate in case of dispute
You are a process-oriented professional with a strong understanding of the complete order lifecycle, from quotation to delivery. Experienced in a manufacturing environment, you understand how products move through production and how to coordinate effectively across functions to ensure successful execution. Customer-focused and relationship-driven, you have experience collaborating with sales offices and customers, building trust through clear communication, responsiveness, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
· BA or BS Degree preferably in engineering
· Strong communication skills
· Project management skills
· 3 to 5 years related experience
· English knowledge is a must
- Experience in International contract management can be an advantage
- Other European Languages can be an advantage
- Transversal management skills (capacity to lead a multicultural team)
- Negotiation skills and customer relationship skills
- Control valve product knowledge would be a plus
