Project Coordinator

Your new company:
Join a large and complex organisation delivering a significant multi year transformation programme that will have a lasting impact. Working within a collaborative project environment, you'll play a key role in supporting governance, delivery, reporting and stakeholder engagement across multiple workstreams. The team will initially work together in the office five days per week, with flexible working arrangements available once the project is established.

Your new role:
As the Project Coordinator, you'll provide operational and administrative support to senior project leaders, helping ensure projects are well planned, governed and delivered successfully. You'll coordinate project activities, maintain project documentation, prepare governance reporting and work closely with stakeholders, vendors and delivery partners to keep projects on track.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate project activities, meetings, workshops and delivery milestones
  • Maintain project schedules, plans and project documentation
  • Prepare project status reports, dashboards and governance packs
  • Manage project registers including risks, issues, actions, decisions and change requests
  • Support Steering Committees, Project Boards and governance meetings
  • Coordinate stakeholder communications and project information
  • Assist with budget tracking, procurement activities and vendor coordination
  • Monitor project progress, dependencies and deliverables
  • Support continuous improvement of project management processes and documentation
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a Project Coordinator, Project Administrator or Project Support role
  • Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall or hybrid project delivery methodologies
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience preparing governance documentation, reports and presentations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Teams
  • Ability to build productive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Experience working in government or complex organisational environments will be highly regarded
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, Project Online or similar tools is advantageous
