Project Coordinator

The Project Coordinator plays a key role in supporting project managers, site supervisors, and field crews by ensuring projects are well-organized, properly documented, and executed efficiently. This role combines coordination, communication, and administrative responsibilities to support the successful delivery of projects from initiation through completion.

Reporting to: Project Manager

Key Responsibilities

Review and analyze contract documents, customer specifications, and blueprints Identify project constraints and recommend
solutions to increase site efficiency.
Attend pull plan meetings and weekly site update meetings;
provide the customer updates on material status and installation schedules.
Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure site readiness. Maintaining and update project schedules to reflect current timelines Maintain accurate and up-to-date project status logs for internal and external stakeholders Assist in pricing and processing change orders, directives, and extra work orders, ensuring proper documentation and execution Coordinate communication between project managers, field teams, suppliers, and customers

Administrative Responsibilities

Perform day-to-day administrative tasks including document control, filing, and record keeping Prepare and distribute meeting minutes, reports, and project documentation Assist with procurement activities including purchase orders and material tracking Ensure all project documentation is complete, accurate, and properly archived

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in structural steel erection and miscellaneous steel installation. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints. Experience with project scheduling and coordination. Ability
to problem solve and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Valid Class 5 driver’s license.
