Project Coordinator Intern
Summary
A student internship at Craftsman Electric supporting Project Managers on commercial electrical construction projects from award through closeout. Day to day involves project planning, documentation, and procurement using Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook), with preferred exposure to Procore and Bluebeam.
Craftsman Electric is looking for a motivated, organized student to join our project management team as a Project Coordinator Intern. This role supports our Project Managers on commercial electrical construction projects from award through closeout. You will get hands-on exposure to how projects are planned, documented, procured, and delivered, working alongside experienced PMs, field supervisors, and estimators. This internship is built for students considering a career in construction management and offers real responsibility, not just busy work.
QUALIFICATIONS
? Currently pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
? Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; able to manage multiple deadlines.
? Clear, professional written and verbal communication.
? Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
? Willingness to learn, ask questions, and take ownership of assigned tasks.
? Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for occasional jobsite visits.
PREFERRED
? Coursework or prior experience in construction, the trades, or project coordination.
? Familiarity with reading construction drawings or blueprints.
? Exposure to project management or document control software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam).
