Project Coordinator Intern

Summary

The Project Coordinator Intern will support project invoicing, purchasing, and logistics processes while collaborating with project managers and engineers. This role involves maintaining project documentation and assisting with cross-functional team coordination in an office-based environment.

The position will be based in Panamá City, Panamá.

Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position.

What you will do

As a Project Coordinator Intern, you will:

  • Support project invoicing activities by assisting with data collection, documentation, and process follow-up in accordance with corporate policies and financial procedures.
  • Assist with project purchasing activities by preparing documentation, tracking requests, and monitoring purchase order status under the guidance of experienced team members.
  • Support logistics and importation processes by tracking shipments, maintaining records, and assisting with coordination efforts to help ensure timely delivery of project materials and equipment.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders by assisting with project reviews, reporting, and project follow-up activities.
  • Maintain and update project documentation, records, and databases to ensure data accuracy and support project compliance.
  • Work with cross-functional and international teams to support problem-solving efforts, information gathering, and action tracking that contribute to successful project execution.

We believe you have

  • Bachelor Studies in progress: Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, International Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Finance, or related fields.

  • Desirable Skills / Knowledge: Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel), English Intermediate – Can hold basic conversations and has strong reading and writing skills; SAP is a plus. Interest or knowledge in project coordination, procurement, supplier management, logistics, and imports; Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously; Proactive mindset and continuous improvement orientation.

  • Availability for internship: January 18 to December 13, 2027.

  • Graduation expected: December 2027 or afterwards.

  • Availability to work and commute to our site 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm, during the full internship program.
