About the Company…
Master Steel is a family-oriented and multicultural team, that has
been established for over 25 years as a specialist in steel fabrication,
located on the Gold Coast. They provide a holistic array of services
including assembly of complex steel components, structural steel testing
and fabrication across the construction, commercial, heavy industries
and public sectors.
Due to their extensive year-on-end growth within the industry, the company is now seeking to employ a Project Coordinator.
About the Position…
In this position you will be required to coordinate the process from
sales to productivity, by resolving any operational concerns, accepting
ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, while exploring
opportunities to add value and improvements to the work process. You
will need to be well-organised in your daily schedule, managing
documentation and coordinating the flow from projects secured through to
the daily output of production. Further duties include:
- Liaising with suppliers and sending purchase orders
- Project cost tracking & reporting (highly advantageous)
- Answering phone calls and redirecting to an appropriate team member
- Experience with Microsoft Projects (highly advantageous)
The Ideal Candidate…
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience as
Project Coordinator, working in a project-based environment. Further to
this, the ideal candidate will have;
- Experience in planning and schedule management
- Experience in steel fabrication (highly beneficial)
- Experience working in a team-based environment
