Summary

Supports research grant applications, manages project finances, personnel, and administration, and liaises with internal/external stakeholders in a public health school environment.

We are looking for a Project Coordinator/Project Executive (at the rank of Senior Research Assistant/Research Assistant I) (Ref no.: 536641) in the General Office of School of Public Health, to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance.


The Role

The appointee will provide support for research grant applications; finance, personnel, and general administration in relation to research projects and community projects; liaison with central units and external stakeholders; and perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Qualities

  • possess a Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in social sciences, communications, business, or related disciplines, with at least 3 years’ work experience;
  • a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; and good number skills and IT proficiency (e.g., MS Office and database). Experience in applying AI at work is desirable;
  • strong interpersonal, communication and organization skills;
  • able to prioritize and multi-task efficiently to meet tight deadlines;
  • attentive to details, self-motivated, responsible, and able to work independently as well as in a team;

Those with less experience may be appointed as Project Executive. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
