About the Role:

The Project Coordinator will be responsible for supporting various activities from the engineering kickoff documents, scope, schedule through the execution of the work, shipment of the products to site, and invoicing to complete the project.

Responsibilities

  • Support the business development team to understand projects and assist with hand-off to the Engineering Design department.
  • Assist with documenting and developing the manufacturing release, build gnat charts to show project flow from kick off through estimated ship date, and ensure everyone is aware and accountable of the schedule.
  • Work closely with the customer to help ensure timely receipt of critical information needed by Engineering to finalize the project scope.
  • Review drawings and support engineering to ensure standards are adhered to prior to departmental hand-offs.
  • Assist Purchasing to develop, expedite creation of motor lists, and project long lead time items and critical spares list.
  • Work closely with the project detailing team through engineering to help ensure all equipment is being detailed and released per the approved layout drawings from engineering, and prioritized on the manufacturing release que table.
  • Regularly review purchases to-date, coordinate, and expedite as required to ensure the majority of buyouts arrive three – five weeks prior to current estimated assembly start date.
  • Work closely with the Fabrication and Assembly Manager to ensure project timeline is correctly prioritized and planned, work is consistently and appropriately being completed, and supporting the estimated ship date.
  • Work closely with the Fabrication and Assembly Manager to manage the systems in progress and regularly update the manager on: the status of procurement, which systems can be started with 100% of buyouts, expedition of any shortages, and any potential issues with buyout arrivals.
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure each system is assembled and prepared for shipment within Pride Quality Standards.
  • Monitor and assist in documenting that all parts are tagged and crated securely.
  • Verify through final check with pallet program and ensure final quality check has been completed prior to shipping.
  • Work closely with Accounting to support invoicing.
  • May travel domestically and internationally 10-30% per year and up to four (4) weeks duration.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with employees at all locations.
  • Conduct activities in a safe and healthy manner and work in accordance with established safety and company requirements.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management or a related field is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and excellent presentation skills are required.
  • Strong organization, leadership, negotiation, and delegation skills are required.
  • Must be able to interact effectively and diplomatically with a number of diverse people, both on an individual basis as well as within group situations.
  • Must have the ability to develop lasting, positive customer relationships based on the ability to focus on customer satisfaction and to obtain the customer's trust.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent organization and planning skills.
  • Ability to effectively learn and acquire new knowledge and skills.
  • Computer skills and an in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows based programs are required.
  • Requires effective time management skills, personal conduct, and change management abilities.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to effectively interact with co-workers, clients, vendors, and other business contacts.

Pay Range

Salary Range: Starting from USD $33.12/Hr.
