The Project Coordinator assists the Project Manager in planning and scheduling construction projects, specifically focusing on structural steel fabrication and installation. Job Description

Project Coordination:

  • Coordinate communication among the main contractor, sub-contractor,supplier, and drafter engineer.
  • Assist Project Manager in project planning, scheduling, and dailycoordination

Technical Support & Drawing Control:

  • Liaise with the main contractor's engineer and drafter for the drawing issue
  • Review and study related drawings before starting work, and ensure shop drawings comply with the construction drawings and specifications.

Site Coordination:

  • Attend site coordination/progress meeting.
  • Track material delivery to avoid delays
  • Monitor project progress and assist in resolving coordination and technical issues.
  • Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards


Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in structural steel fabrication, steel erection, or construction projects.
  • Knowledge of structural steel fabrication and installation processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and shop drawings.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
