PROJECT DESIGNER
Summary
Ci Design is hiring a full-time Project Designer in its Boston office to lead architectural projects from design through construction — managing client relationships, schedules, budgets, and multidisciplinary teams while overseeing technical design and construction documentation. Core tools are Revit, AutoCAD, and SketchUp.
- Oversee the preparation and technical design aspects of major project
- Investigate, evaluate, and recommend design solutions to meet client needs
- Oversee design and planning studies, ensuring high-quality outcomes
- Coordinate with project teams, clients, and consultants
- Produce and review comprehensive project specifications
- Handle complex assignments requiring new or improved techniques and procedures
- Offer technical guidance to less experienced architects
- Stay updated with industry trends and integrate them into designs
- Proven ability in reviewing and interpreting completed reports, plans, estimates, and calculations
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and design requirements
- Manage multiple tasks and projects while adhering to deadlines and budgets
- Offer technical guidance to less experienced architects
- Preferred 3+ years of professional architectural experience.
- Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and SketchUp; Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is preferred.
- Strong design and presentation skills; capable of engaging with clients and consultants
- Proficient in architectural design, material and systems detailing, and envelope systems design.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a creative approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to self-direct and work well under deadlines while managing multiple projects.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Comfortable producing construction documents for various project types.
