Summary

Oversee Canon’s laser printer R&D, quality, and planning projects with HP and Canon Japan, coordinating development, troubleshooting, and strategic alignment.

Description

Laser Printer New Products Development Support

- Build a bridge between HP and Canon INC(Japan, Headquarter) to achieve the development of new products on both engines and supplies

- Investigation on problems relating testing and conduct measurements required for development

- Manage to rework engines and supplies when needed

- Connect and report between Customer & Canon INC, relating schedule, concept and technical issues for multiple programs

Laser Printer Current Products Quality Support

- Cooperate with Customer and Canon INC to confirm the status of quality issues and to solve

- Report status to Canon INC on urgent issues

- Connect communications between Customer and Canon INC

- Survey and research quality issues at the customer site when needed

- Cooperate with other optimal sections of Canon Singapore internally or other Canon group companies when necessary

Laser Printer Future Products Planning Support

- Cooperate with HP and Canon INC to achieve alignment on future product strategy

- Conduct market research when necessary

- Cooperate with other optimal sections of Canon Singapore internally or other Canon group companies for each cases

- Report results to Canon INC

Requirement

· Minimum 15 years Laser Printer related R&D experience.

· At least a bachelor’s degree in engineering, or a related field is required.

· Possess good knowledge of R&D, Quality Assurance and Manufacturing.

· Strategic knowledge on Operation

· Possess excellent written and verbal communication in both English & Japanese as this role will need to liaise Frequently with head office in Japan.

· Good project management skill.

· Strong organizational and leadership skill.

· Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
