Project EHS Coordinator [SL]

Lead and coordinate the implementation of project EHS policies, procedures and management systems.

Monitor overall EHS performance and ensure project activities comply with applicable workplace safety, health and environmental requirements.

Work closely with the EHS Manager, project team, contractors, clients and relevant authorities to address EHS matters.

Develop and implement monthly EHS programmes, safety initiatives and environmental improvement activities.

Conduct daily site inspections, identify hazards and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.

Lead accident, incident and near-miss investigations, determine root causes and recommend measures to prevent recurrence.

Develop, review and monitor risk assessments, safe work procedures, emergency response plans and other project EHS plans.

Coordinate internal and external audits, certification audits and relevant EHS compliance programmes.

Establish emergency preparedness procedures and coordinate emergency response exercises with relevant stakeholders and agencies.

Ensure timely submission of EHS reports and maintain complete records of inspections, incidents, training and compliance activities.

Coordinate project EHS Committee meetings, prepare meeting minutes and monitor the completion of action items.

Liaise with government agencies and clients on EHS inspections, reporting, compliance and other project-related matters.

Prepare submissions for relevant EHS awards and certification programmes.

Implement environmental and health management plans, monitor performance, and oversee waste management and pollution control measures.

Provide guidance and leadership to EHS colleagues and collaborate with project personnel to maintain a safe and healthy workplace.

Undertake other project-related responsibilities assigned by the Project Manager.
