Project Electrical Engineer
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise electrical engineering works from design through site execution.
- Review electrical drawings, shop drawings, technical submissions, method statements and material submissions.
- Oversee the installation, testing and commissioning of electrical systems.
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, suppliers and other engineering disciplines to resolve technical and site issues.
- Monitor project progress and ensure electrical works comply with project specifications, statutory requirements, quality standards and Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) regulations.
- Attend site meetings, inspections and technical discussions to support successful project delivery.
- Prepare progress reports, inspection records, as-built drawings and project handover documentation.
- Provide technical support and engineering solutions to ensure projects are completed safely, on time and within quality standards.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering for building, infrastructure or industrial projects. Candidates with more years of relevant experience may be considered for senior positions.
- Knowledge of electrical systems installation, testing and commissioning.
- Familiar with Singapore electrical codes, standards and Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) requirements.
- Able to interpret electrical drawings and technical specifications.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office. AutoCAD knowledge will be an advantage.
- Good coordination, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Willing to work at project sites across Singapore.
