Project Engineer
Summary
Oversee on-site construction projects in semiconductor and manufacturing plants, coordinating teams and ensuring safety and compliance with specifications.
Job Description
- 1. Attend site meetings and manage assigned projects on-site.
- 2. Prepare method statement, shop drawing including T&C checklist and other relevant documents.
- 3. Preferably working experience in cleanrooms and semiconductor plants will have an advantage.
- 4. Candidates are preferred to have design and build experience in mechanical engineering.
- 5. Work is mostly in live production plants in the semiconductor and manufacturing industries.
- 6. To lead a team of sub-contractors to execute construction or hook-up works.
- 7. Supervision on-site and coordination with sub-contractor.
- 8. Ensure all work is carried out safely, as the workplace safety and health council requires.
- 9. Ensure that all construction work complies with the project specifications, procedures and requirements.
- 10. Coordinate and monitor site progress accordingly to schedule and report to accordingly to manager.
- 11. Participate in testing and commissioning completed installations with clients and sub-contractors.
- 12. Able to communicate effectively with clients and sub-contractors.
- 13. Able to work in a construction environment and independently at the site.
- 14. Able to read construction drawings, especially for mechanical
Requirement:
- Degree in an Engineering discipline, preferably in Mechanical / Chemical.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Good leadership.
- Able to liaise with all levels.
- Positive, mature, independent and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Stay calm and maintain quality output under time constraints or high-pressure scenarios
- Able to work on weekends and public holidays
- Must be able to work on shift
