Summary: Required to support new design and ongoing engineering issues that arise during the manufacture of the product. DC Fabricators designs and manufactures (on site) heat transfer equipment for the United States Navy for Nuclear Submarines and Surface Ships (such as Aircraft Carriers). This equipment mainly includes large steam surface condensers, water to water heat exchangers and oil coolers. This equipment is designed to meet heat transfer requirements and be able to withstand stresses due to seawater pressure, potential shock events (underwater explosions), galvanic corrosion, erosion, thermal fatigue, high velocity vibration and the thermal loading conditions that can be encountered during submarine/ship service.
