Project Engineer

Job Summary

Responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of communication system projects, including planning, design, implementation, testing, commissioning, and post-deployment support. Ensures projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with technical, quality, and cybersecurity requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project activities with customers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless communication and timely delivery
• Prepare and review communication system designs, network diagrams, and technical documents to meet project specifications
• Manage site installation, deployment, and commissioning activities to achieve operational readiness
• Conduct Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and system acceptance testing to validate system performance
• Troubleshoot technical issues promptly and coordinate resolutions to minimize project delays
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and track deliverables to maintain project timelines and quality standards
• Prepare comprehensive project reports and documentation to support project transparency and compliance
• Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and cybersecurity requirements throughout the project lifecycle
• Provide technical support during implementation and warranty periods to resolve post-deployment issues
• Apply knowledge of cybersecurity standards, SSAT, VAPT, and secure network architecture principles to safeguard communication systems
• Utilize working knowledge of virtualization, server infrastructure, and cloud-connected communication systems to enhance project outcomes
• Employ project management methodologies to plan, execute, and control project activities effectively

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma or Degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Experience managing communication systems, networking, or system integration projects
• Strong problem-solving skills applied to resolving technical challenges in communication system projects
• Effective coordination skills to align multiple stakeholders and project teams
• Clear communication skills to convey technical information and project status to diverse audiences

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Familiarity with cybersecurity standards, SSAT, VAPT, and secure network architecture principles
• Working knowledge of virtualization, server infrastructure, and cloud-connected communication systems
• Familiarity with project management methodologies
