Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Project Engineer to manage and oversee plumbing and sanitary works for both construction and maintenance projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing projects while ensuring works are completed safely, on schedule, and in compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise plumbing and sanitary works for construction and maintenance projects.
  • Monitor project progress, schedules, quality, and project costs.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Prepare and review shop drawings, technical submissions, and project documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace safety requirements, statutory regulations, and company quality standards.
  • Attend site meetings and resolve technical and site-related issues.
  • Prepare progress reports and support project completion and handover.
  • Respond to and coordinate emergency repair and maintenance works when required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in plumbing and sanitary works for both construction and maintenance projects.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • Proficient in waterproofing technology, including the application, inspection, and maintenance of waterproofing systems.
  • Strong knowledge of local plumbing and sanitary regulations, waterproofing systems, and industry standards.
  • Good project management, coordination, and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Must be willing to work on a 5.5-day work week.
  • Must be willing to work after office hours, on weekends, and on public holidays when required to support emergency works.
