Project Engineer Automation - Project/Temporary Assignment
- Support the planning and implementation of the AGV project in Body Shop and Final Assembly with focus on the Fleet Management System.
- Assist in defining project tasks (e.g. door shutter, fire alarm, traffic light, projections, etc. to Kinexon) and resource requirements.
- Develop, program and verify a “dry run” functionality in the PLC for the logistic delivery to the automatic unloading stations.
- Develop full-scale project plans and manage project budget.
- Contribute to the development of full-scale project plans and manage project budget.
- Provide technical support to the project team.
- Provide direction and support to the project team.
- Collaborate with Maintenance to define and update preventative/corrective maintenance programs.
- Assist and follow up with handover process toward Production.
- Share knowledge and experience, and offer trainings accordingly, to improve capability and competence of local engineers.
- Ensure quality assurance.
- Develop, maintain, and improve both local and global standards and PLC libraries within your area.
- Maintain good communication within the area and other parts of the organization
- Project evaluations and assessment of results.
- Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
This role requires a valid Belgian Working Permit
Long term project of 1 year
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Engineer to support the industrialization of Automated Guided Vehicles (= AGVs) in the Body Shop (= welding shop) and Final Assembly at our customer's premises with a focus on the Fleet Management System. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from initial concept to final implementation. You will be a part of an Industrialization team and will contribute to prepare and implement product and manufacturing processes (manual and automated).
Your Main tasks:
- Master’s degree in Engineering.
- Proven experience in project management and industrial automation.
- Knowledge of AGVs, fleet management systems, welding processes, and industrial safety standards.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Exceptional project management and leadership skills.
- Experience of Manufacturing Engineering process and Facility, Tooling and Equipment process.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally on an occasional basis.
