Project Engineer (BMS)
Summary
Leads BMS projects, designs automation for HVAC, security, and fire systems, and codes Honeywell/Niagara 4 integrations for building management.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Plan, direct, lead and manage multiple Project, Engineering, and Installations to achieve its annual financial & non-financial goals for the department and company.
- Experience with Industrial Automation and Building Management Control Systems (PLC/DDC).
- Assist in (i) the design and development of software solutions for Building Management System (BMS) including chiller systems, HVAC, security, fire alarm and etc, (ii) preparation of P&ID diagram related to the chiller system and its BMS, and (iii) In writing, debugging and testing of the code to control and integrate with the existing BMS system.
- Collaborate with engineering team to gather requirements and specification of BMS.
- Develop and maintain manuals of the developed BMS system including codes, logic diagrams and system configurations.
- Such other duties and responsibilities as may be reasonably requested by your immediate supervisor / the head of department from time to time .
- Manages the development and leadership of Project, Engineering, and Installation Professionals.
- Develops implements and direct programs to ensure efficient and smooth operation of the department.
- Evaluates performance of the department and implements corrective actions to improve the results secured.
- Good understanding in Honeywell BMS system (Comfort Point Open CPO and Enterprise Building Integrator EBI)
- Good understanding in Niagara 4 system and cloud computing.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience in the management of services operations and/or engineering projects in the building environment sector.
- Must able to work on Saturday/Sunday and Public Holidays if necessary.
- Ability to travel at short notice and manage 24/7 on call lifestyle.
- Recognized Degree in Electronic & Electrical / Computer Science or any other relevant Engineering discipline from a reputable local or foreign university.
- Strong leadership with excellent analytical skills, interpersonal savvy, resourcefulness, time management abilities, customer focus, organizing capabilities, planning expertise, motivation skills, drive for results, and proficiency in building effective teams.
- Process with own car is preferred.
- 5.5 days workweek.
