Project Engineer

Project Engineer Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed engineering designs to meet project specifications and standards.
• Conduct feasibility assessments and perform site inspections to evaluate project viability.
• Prepare and implement comprehensive project plans to ensure timely delivery.
• Research project requirements and provide accurate cost and resource estimates.
• Review and interpret government regulations and ordinances to ensure compliance.
• Monitor and optimize safety procedures, production processes, and regulatory adherence.
• Analyze problems and present alternative solutions to improve project outcomes.
• Liaise confidently with clients and professional subcontractors to coordinate project activities.
• Manage project budgets, resources, deadlines, and compile acquisition quotes effectively.
• Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously to maintain workflow efficiency.
• Lead diverse professional teams to achieve project goals and maintain quality standards.

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Master’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Familiarity with design software such as Autodesk, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and MicroStation.
• Minimum of three years’ industry experience in civil engineering projects.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with high accuracy in calculations and design.
• Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines.
• Leadership skills to manage diverse project teams effectively.
