Coordinates and delivers cabling and network projects, working with vendors and clients to design, implement, test, and support network infrastructure and devices.
Project Engineer (Cabling / Network)
Job Responsibilities:
• Be part of the client’s project management team to deliver cabling/network projects involving the deployment of cabling and network devices.
• Project coordination with vendors and users such as requirements gathering, solution design, implementation, testing and support.
• Review project deliverables from vendors to ensure completeness and adherence to the required quality and standard.
• Facilitate routine clearances, site surveys and meetings.
Job Requirements:
• Diploma in Computer science / IT / Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of working experience in cabling and network implementation project coordination from design to implementation, testing and support.
• Hands-on and working knowledge of outdoor cabling, structured cabling and network equipment such as firewall, switches, routers, etc.
• Certification in CCNA, ITIL, etc. will be advantageous.
• Good written and verbal communication skills and experienced in managing stakeholders and vendors.
• Prior working experience in defense organizations or government ministries requiring CAT 1 security clearance
