Project Engineer – Technical Department

  • Salary:

    • 1–3 years’ experience: $3,000 – $3,400 basic + AWS + Variable Bonus

    • 3 years’ experience and above: $3,500 – $4,200 basic + AWS + Variable Bonus

  • Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

  • Working Location: Toh Guan Road East

  • Driving Licence: Class 3 licence preferred but not mandatory

Our client is a leading global security solutions provider with a strong presence in Singapore. The company specialises in integrated security solutions, including CCTV surveillance, access control, intrusion detection and other electronic security systems. With a focus on technology, service quality and customer satisfaction, the organisation supports a wide range of commercial and industrial clients.


Job Responsibilities

Project Planning & Design

  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand sales orders and clients’ security needs and requirements.

  • Work closely with clients to confirm and understand their security requirements.

  • Review and reconfirm security designs and proposed solutions, including CCTV, access control, intrusion detection and other security systems, before project execution.

  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets and resource allocation.

  • Coordinate contractor allocation and procurement of materials in collaboration with the Project Manager.

System Installation & Integration

  • Oversee the installation of security systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.

  • Coordinate and integrate various security systems.

  • Conduct system testing, commissioning and troubleshooting to ensure proper functionality and performance.

Technical Support

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical or system malfunction issues during the handover stage.

  • Provide technical information and support to the Service and Operations teams during project handover.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including design plans, installation records and testing/commissioning reports.

Client Communication & Training

  • Assist in conducting system training sessions for clients and end-users on system operations and best practices.

  • Prepare training materials and presentation slides for internal and external training.

Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure all security systems comply with relevant regulations, standards and client requirements.

  • Implement and adhere to safety protocols during installation and maintenance activities.

  • Keep updated on the latest security technologies, solutions and industry trends.

Team Coordination & Management

  • Coordinate with project stakeholders, including subcontractors, suppliers, vendors and internal teams.

  • Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure projects are completed within the required timeline and budget.

  • Liaise with suppliers regarding equipment models, technical specifications and quotations.

Quality Assurance

  • Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure systems meet required performance and quality standards.

  • Implement best practices for security system installation, testing and maintenance.

  • Adhere to workplace safety and health procedures and requirements under ISO 45001.


Job Requirements

  • Diploma / Higher Nitec in Electrical, Electronics or any Engineering-related discipline.

  • 1 year of experience in site supervision and project coordination with main contractors and subcontractors.

  • Hands-on experience and knowledge in the installation of alarm, card access and CCTV systems.

  • Class 3 driving licence is an advantage but not mandatory.
