Project Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage day-to-day civil and structural works on-site.
- Ensure construction activities are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
- Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and site teams to resolve technical and construction issues.
- Review and interpret structural drawings, and provide technical guidance to site personnel.
- Monitor site progress and ensure works are completed on schedule.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure quality control and compliance with project standards.
- Check rebar works, formwork, concreting, and other structural activities prior to inspections.
- Liaise with consultants and relevant authorities for site inspections and approvals.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and proper implementation of safe work procedures.
- Prepare site reports, progress updates, and maintain proper documentation.
- Assist in resolving site discrepancies, technical issues, and design changes.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by superior.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant site experience in building and infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and structural works.
- Ability to read and interpret construction and structural drawings accurately.
- Experience with top-down method project is advantageous.
- Good coordination and communication skills with multiple stakeholders.
- Hands-on, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced site environment.
