Project Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage day-to-day civil and structural works on-site.
  • Ensure construction activities are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
  • Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and site teams to resolve technical and construction issues.
  • Review and interpret structural drawings, and provide technical guidance to site personnel.
  • Monitor site progress and ensure works are completed on schedule.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure quality control and compliance with project standards.
  • Check rebar works, formwork, concreting, and other structural activities prior to inspections.
  • Liaise with consultants and relevant authorities for site inspections and approvals.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and proper implementation of safe work procedures.
  • Prepare site reports, progress updates, and maintain proper documentation.
  • Assist in resolving site discrepancies, technical issues, and design changes.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by superior.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant site experience in building and infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and structural works.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction and structural drawings accurately.
  • Experience with top-down method project is advantageous.
  • Good coordination and communication skills with multiple stakeholders.
  • Hands-on, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced site environment.
