Project Engineer (CIVIL) [SL]

Review and understand ISO requirements, technical drawings, project scope, contractual requirements and subcontract agreements.

Coordinate with consultants and relevant stakeholders to resolve technical issues before construction begins.

Assist in preparing short- and medium-term work programmes, obtain the necessary approvals and monitor progress against the agreed schedule.

Ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings, quality procedures, environmental, health and safety (EHS) requirements, and project specifications.

Maintain good housekeeping standards and ensure work areas are kept safe, clean and organised.

Implement quality control procedures, maintain inspection records, analyse results and recommend corrective actions for continuous improvement.

Maintain accurate project documentation and records to meet EHS, quality, client and regulatory requirements.

Monitor the use of materials for temporary and permanent works to minimise damage, wastage and unnecessary costs.

Identify potential rework and construction issues early and coordinate preventive measures to minimise delays and cost impacts.

Perform other project-related duties assigned by the Project Manager.
