• “Repair Process Engineer” for the “Expanded Mining Product Division”

• Candidate will focus on product salvation for certain parts and putting them into a new condition at a lesser cost (instead of buying new parts)

• Repair, Reuse and Salvage components at a lesser cost which helps lower the cost of owning the parts and operating cost***

• Behind the desk job but opportunities for travel in building relationships with Engineers and Supplier Engineers

o Acquire supplier information

o Go over the salvage guidelines and make recommendations

• Previous expanding mining experience a major plus!

• Previous CAT experience a major plus!

• Welding experience a major plus!

• Military background is also a major plus!

• Mechanical engineering aptitude and background is REQUIRED***

• Needing to bring someone on ASAP

• Bachelor’s Degree is fine, previous work experience is more important – at least 3+ years’ experience (preferably 5 years)


Technical Skills:

Strong PC skills, MS Windows, especially MS Excel Strong understanding of Service Information System (SIS) Solid understanding of engineering practices: print reading, product structure and engineering change processes Knowledge of media authoring systems, including ACM


Desired:

Green Belt Experience 4 year degree in mechanical engineering or other technical discipline 3+ years of component repair experience Metal restoration background, including welding and metal fabrication multiple years of technical representative w/ thorough understanding of metal wear principles and failure modes.

Soft Skills: Excellent analytical and problem solving skills as well as strong attention to detail Strong communication skills (written and oral) Ability to cooperate with others and good interpersonal skills
