Project Engineer (Commercial Construction)

We are looking for a capable and self-driven Project Engineer to oversee site execution for commercial construction projects. You will work closely with clients, project managers, site supervisors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure projects run smoothly, safely, and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

  • Site Management: Plan, schedule, and oversee daily commercial site activities and sub-contractor works.
  • Coordination: Work closely with clients, project managers, site supervisors, and suppliers to align on milestones and resolve site issues.
  • Progress Tracking: Monitor work progress, manage project timelines, and provide regular updates to project managers.
  • Safety & Compliance: Enforce workplace safety guidelines and quality standards across all site activities.
  • Documentation: Prepare daily site reports, material submissions, work schedules, and project handover documents.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in commercial construction or fit-out works.
  • Must hold a valid Safety Supervisor Certificate (e.g., BCSS / Building Construction Supervisors Safety Course).
  • Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Building, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and project schedules.
  • Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in basic AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
