Project Engineer – Data Center

About the role

Support the delivery of data center fit-out and infrastructure projects from planning through completion. Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor site progress, quality, safety, and compliance with project specifications.
• Review drawings, technical documents, method statements, and project schedules.
• Attend site meetings and provide project updates to stakeholders.
• Coordinate material procurement, deliveries, and site activities.
• Assist with testing, commissioning, inspections, and project handover activities.
• Track project progress, risks, issues, and variations.
• Ensure project documentation is maintained and updated.
• Support the Project Manager in achieving project milestones and client expectations.

About you

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or a related discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience in data center, MEP, mission-critical, construction, or fit-out projects.
• Familiarity with electrical, mechanical, cabling, ELV, or data center infrastructure systems.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
• Willing to work on-site and travel when required.
