Project Engineer (Electrical)

Job Description:

• Plan and oversee multiple engineering projects from conceptualisation to handover, ensuring delivery within budget, schedule, safety requirements, and quality standards.
• Priorities tasks and allocate manpower and resources effectively to meet project deadlines.
• Assist in preparing tender submissions for new projects and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Review and approve project changes that significantly affect scope, budget, or timelines.
• Lead complex and critical engineering projects, monitoring progress and performance against project plans.
• Identify and resolve operational issues to minimise delays and disruptions.
• Lead, mentor, and develop project teams to achieve business objectives and comply with applicable laws and regulations.
• Ensure compliance with company and government safety standards, as well as customer quality and safety requirements.
• Manage capital, manpower, project expenditure, and other resources to maximise productivity and remain within budget.
• Evaluate and approve project investments in line with organisational objectives.

Requirements:

• Relevant professional qualifications in a related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in the construction engineering industry.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, meet targets, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills when engaging with project teams and management at all levels.
• Experience in design, HT exposure and/or Control Panel/BMS.
