Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical engineering, design, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities. The role requires strong technical expertise, project coordination skills, and the ability to ensure compliance with applicable electrical standards and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems, equipment, and installations.
• Prepare and review SLDs, electrical schematics, cable schedules, load schedules, and layouts.
• Perform electrical load calculations, equipment sizing, and protection coordination.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors, and other engineering disciplines.
• Review technical specifications, drawings, BOQs, and vendor documents.
• Supervise installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
• Conduct inspections and ensure adherence to quality and electrical safety standards.
• Identify technical issues and provide effective engineering solutions.
• Support project planning, cost estimation, procurement, and technical evaluation of vendors.
• Prepare technical reports, documentation, and progress updates.
• Mentor junior electrical engineers and technicians.

Required Qualifications

• BE / Diploma or equivalent.
• 5–10 years of relevant electrical engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, protection, distribution, and equipment.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical / AutoCAD and relevant engineering software.
• Good understanding of electrical codes, standards, and safety practices.
• Strong analytical, communication, and project coordination skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with HT/LT systems, transformers, switchgear, DG systems, UPS, VFDs, earthing, and cable systems.
• Experience in testing and commissioning.
• Knowledge of ETAP/PowerFactory is an advantage.
• Experience managing contractors and vendors.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
