Project Engineer (ELV System / Structured Cabling)
Salary: $3,000 – $4,500 per month
About the role
We are looking for a motivated and skilled M&E (Mechanical and Electrical) Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing M&E works, ensuring timely project delivery, and maintaining high-quality standards.
Key responsibilities
Plan and manage M&E works, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets
Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution
Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the Project Manager
Review and approve technical drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings
Conduct site inspections and ensure that M&E works comply with project specifications and quality standards
Identify and resolve technical issues promptly to avoid delays
Oversee testing and commissioning of M&E systems
Ensure all M&E works adhere to safety regulations and codes of practice
Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, claims, and submissions
Maintain accurate records of site activities and resource utilization
About you
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years in M&E project management or coordination, preferably in construction projects
Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, and other project management tools
Strong technical knowledge of M&E systems and their integration in construction projects
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations
